How to uninstall Kaspersky Anti-Virus (Kaspersky Anti-Virus ကို Uninstall ျပဳလုပ္နည္း)

 Kaspersky Anti-Virus ကို မသံုးဖူးတဲ႔ အတြက္ ကိုယ္တိုင္ ရွင္းမျပႏိုင္ပါဘူး ....:)

အဆင္ေျပပါေစ....

တကယ္လို႔ အဆင္မေျပေသးရင္ ဒီပို႔စ္ မွာ Antivirus Uninstaller Tools ကို သံုးျပီး ေျဖရွင္းႏိုင္ပါေသးတယ္....။

Please follow the procedure below should you wish to uninstall Kaspersky Anti-Virus 2012:

1. in order to avoid incorrect uninstallation, exit from the application:
• right-click the K icon on the bottom right hand corner of the desktop (in the Taskbar notification area)
• select Exit

2. remove the application using the Setup Wizard. To do this, perform the following:
• click Start
• click (All) programs
• choose Kaspersky Anti-Virus 2012
• click Remove Kaspersky Anti-Virus

3.  click on the Remove icon on the Setup Window
4. select  one from the following options:
• Complete uninstall - choose this variant if you want to fully remove the application and if you will no longer use it in the near future. Note: by selecting this option, all application objects, including any remaining license validity period will be removed  from the machine.
• Save application objects - choose this variant if you only want to update the application version. This option will delete old program files and registry entries, allowing installation of the new version. Option to save the following objects are provided (It is recommended to select and save “Keep activation data”, if the current license is still valid):
• Activation data
• Backup and Quarantine files (the option is available only if malicious objects were detected and were backed up during previous sessions)
• Operational settings of the application (user settings of the Kaspersky Anti-Viruscomponents)
• Anti-Spam databases (if the Anti-Spam component was deployed and trained while in use)
• iChecker data (use to accelerate the application work)
• Safe Run shared folder data
5. once the appropriate choice(s) has been made, click next to confirm and proceed with the uninstallation process.
6. wait till program files and registry keys are removed
7. it is necessary to uninstall the application system drivers correctly. This is possible once the uninstallation process is complete. It is therefore important to restart the machine in order to complete the uninstall process. A restart can be performed immediately after the procedure. This option is presented after the program features you have selected have been removed. Another option is to delay the restart of the computer,  this can be done manually later on.

Some errors might occur when deleting Kaspersky Lab products via Start > Control Panel > Add\Remove Programs (Add/Remove Programs). As a result the application may not uninstall correctly or remnants of the application may remain in the system.
Removal utility enables complete uninstall of the following products:

• Kaspersky Small Office Security 2 for Personal Computer / for File Server
• Kaspersky PURE / PURE R2
• Kaspersky Anti-Virus (all versions)
• Kaspersky Internet Security (all versions)
• Kaspersky Password Manager (all versions)
• AVP Tool driver

Under 64-bit OSs the removal utility does not uninstall Kaspersky Anti-Virus 6.0/7.0 and Kaspersky Internet Security 6.0/7.0.

The utility deletes activation information. Make sure you have your activation code before running this tool as you will need to re-activate after you reinstall.

In order to fully uninstall the product:

1. Save the uninstall utility on your computer:
• download the archive kavremover.zip. Unpack the archive (for example, using WinZip)

OR

• download the executable file kavremover.exe.
2. Run the file kavremover.exe.
3. Enter the code from the picture. If you cannot read the code from the picture, click on the button next to the picture to generate a new code.
4. In the Following products were detected section select the required product to be uninstalled. Click on the Remove button. If you wish to delete some products, it is required to delete them separately.

It is strongly recommended to run the removal tool several times, specifically  to remove Version(s) 2009, 2010 and/or 2011 as appropriate, depending on the previous version(s) installed on the machine before the latest version.
The Remove all known products option is recommended to be used ONLY when you do not know which Kaspersky Lab product was installed and the utility does not detect any Kaspersky Lab product.

5. The removal process may take some minutes.
6. Wait until a dialog window appears to inform you that the product was successfully removed.
7. On the open dialog window, click on the OK button.

8. Reboot your computer.
9. If you had more than one Kaspersky Lab product on the computer, you should rerun the removal tool and chose that product from the list and remove this too.

By default, a log file with the name kavremvr xxxx-xx-xx xx-xx-xx (pid xxxx).txt will be saved in the folder where the utility is located.
