လက္ရွိ စမတ္ဖုန္း ေလာကထဲမွာ ကမၻာ့အၾကီးဆံုး ျဖစ္လာမယ့္ ဖုန္း ျဖစ္ပါတယ္။ ၅.၅၅ လက္မရွိတဲ့ Samsung Galaxy Note ေတြထက္ေကာ ၾကီးပါတယ္။ iPad mini နီးနီးကို ျဖစ္ေနပါတယ္။

ေက်ာက္သင္ပုန္း ကြန္ျပဴတာ အေနနဲ႔ ထုတ္လုပ္ျခင္းလည္းမဟုတ္ပဲ စမတ္ဖုန္းနဲ႔ Tablet ေပါင္းထားတဲ့ Phablet ျဖစ္ပါတယ္။ မ်က္ႏွာျပင္ အရြယ္ၾကီးျပီး Resolution ကိုလည္း အေလးထား ျပဳလုပ္ထားေပး ပါတယ္။ Full HD 1920x1080 display ျဖစ္ျပီး ဖုန္းရဲ ႔အမည္ကိုေတာ့ Ascend Mate လို႔ အမည္ေပးထားပါတယ္။

Android OS ကို အသံုးျပဳျပီး 1.8 Ghz quad core processor ကို အသံုးျပဳ ထားတဲ့အတြက္ High Class ဖုန္းပဲ ျဖစ္ပါတယ္။ ဘက္ထရီလည္း အားၾကီး ပါတယ္။ 4000 mAh ဆုိေတာ့ Function အကုန္ သံုးလို႔ ဘက္ထရီ မခံမွာ မစုိးရိမ္ရ ပါဘူး။ iPhone 5 ထက္ Resolution ေကာင္းေနတာကို ထူးဆန္းအံ့ၾသစြာ ေတြ႔ရွိရပါတယ္။ တစ္လက္မမွာ သိပ္သည္းဆ 361 Pixel ရွိပါတယ္။ iPhone 5 ရဲ ႔ Retina ထက္ေတာင္ ပိုေကာင္းေနပါတယ္။

Is Huawei readying a rival to Samsung’s Galaxy Note 2?

Samsung’s Galaxy Note 2 hit UK shelves earlier this month, and Samsung fans in the US are eagerly awaiting their chance to get their hands on the multi-functional ‘phablet’, when it debuts stateside this week.

Now it seems that the device may already have a challenger as Chinese telecoms giant Huawei is said to be working on a 6.1-inch smartphone that could be a direct competitor to the 5.5-inch Galaxy Note 2.

Dubbed the Ascend Mate, the smartphone has an impressive line up of rumoured specs that threaten to blow its so-called rival out of the water. Here’s what we know so far.

Ascend Mate specs and features

The Ascend Mate is set to feature a display with a 1920×1080 resolution and be powered by a HiSilicon K3V3 quad-core chip clocked at 1.8GHz. The device is also expected to boast 2GB of RAM and a 4000mAh battery.

Details of the Ascend Mate’s operating system, cameras, internal storage and more are woefully lacking, as is an estimated price point, so it will be hard to make a full assessment, but it seems to stand up well against the Galaxy Note 2 from what we know so far.

Ascend Mate: A threat to the Galaxy Note 2?

If the Ascend Mate really is in the pipeline and the rumoured features turn out to be correct, then Samsung may have something to worry about, as the Ascend Mate does trump the Galaxy Note II in several areas.

This includes the Note 2’s screen resolution (1280×720), battery (3,100mAh), and quad-core processor at 1.6GHz.

However, where the Galaxy Note 2 does set itself apart from the competition is the inclusion of the S Pen, a stylus that can be used to annotate documents and write emails.

Only time will tell if the Ascend Mate can make a name for itself in the phablet market.
